National Garden Week
In an effort to acknowledge the importance of Gardening and the numerous contributions of Gardeners, the National Garden Clubs, Inc. designates the first full week of June as National Garden Week.
Take plenty of photos, write a story about your club to accompany the picture, and ask your local paper to publish it.
Plan early to make requests for your displays, arrange with the Mayor for the proclamation and getting an article published.
Including a contact person and phone number on everything is a good way
to get new members and a source to get more information about your club
activities to the public. |
