CLEANEST CITY CONTEST 2010
Despite a great effort on the part of the club and the residents of Ville
Platte, the city placed second behind Rayne in the contest.
Overall, the club was pleased with the response of the community
regarding the contest and plans to enter again next year.

CHRISTMAS SOCIAL
December 13, 2009
The glittering Christmas decorations at the home of Dan and Debbie
Poret welcomed members of the Magnolia Garden Club for their annual
Christmas party.
The club social was planned and prepared by hostesses Joyce
Coreil, Haidee
Floyed, JoAnne Eastin, Judy Waters, Glenda Mitchell and Debbie
Poret.
Poinsettias were presented prior to the delicious holiday meal. Conversation
was lively and a lot of reminiscing of events of earlier years was recalled |
