• One of the better reasons for joining the Diggers & Weeders Garden Club of Lake Charles is that our club presents such a wonderful opportunity to be with people who share a common interest. This meeting of like-minded people often leads to lasting friendships and discoveries that may never otherwise have occurred. What a nice addition to our personal garden in life!
• The appeal of belonging to our Diggers and Weeders Garden Club of Lake Charles is that many opportunities are available to you within our local club. We may only have one person interested in a study program, only 2 or 3 people interested in going to conventions, 10 or 11 wanting to work on our butterfly garden, 4 or 5 exhibiting at horticulture and flower shows, only 6 or 7 able to pick up litter for our Adopt-A-Spot program, or maybe the entire group wants to go on our field trips; but the joy is that you may pick and choose to participate at your choice, while paying your dues. Where else can you access these choices for only $20.00 a year? That is less than $1.75 per month!!!
• There is a place for you in our Diggers & Weeders Garden Club of Lake Charles. We invite you to be our guest at 2 meetings, before joining the club. Come see us at the LSU AgCenter on the Gulf Hwy (next to Burton Coliseum). Our meetings are every 2nd Monday of the month, September to May, from 1PM to 3PM.
